What Is Disciples House

Mark 1:8
Disciples House is a church where the Word of God and the Holy Spirit come together to reveal the power of God! This makes us a Word & Spirit Church.
Those that stand in the pulpit do not teach with the wisdom of man, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power; as Jesus did, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our pastors and guest ministers make the Bible easy to understand. Teaching how to apply the Bible to everyday life.
We are a church that believes and teaches the entire Bible.
If you need to classify us, you could say we are a Spirit- Filled, Word of Faith, Full Gospel, Pentecostal and/or Non-denominational Church.
Disciples House is for every One that desires a true relationship with God

Disciples House is made up of everyday people from various races, ages, backgrounds, education, and status; all having one thing in common, we all love Jesus Christ!
Our people are committed to living the new life, that Jesus came to give us. Each person is growing in their knowledge and understanding of God, while learning to be like Christ in this life. We are working to be better Christians (Disciples) everyday.

The Bible
We believe the Bible is God speaking to us, the Christian and the Jew. The Bible is always true and the final authority! We are not to be conformed to this world, but are to be transformed into Christ like people, by renewing our mind with the Word of God.
God’s Love and Gifts
At Disciples House, we accept the entirety of the rightly divided Word of God.
The scriptures declare God is love and gave his son because of his love toward the world. We are confident that God loves every person, which is why Jesus came. Therefore, because we, the born again believers, are in God, his love is in us. God’s love in us makes us able to love all people the way God loves us.
In John chapter 3, Jesus is talking about man’s need to be born again. Few people know or understand that God did not just send Jesus. God also made all of his provision and promises available in and through Jesus. But to have all that God has for us we must first be born-again. Then each Christian is responsible for getting in line with God’s word to walk in the fullness of God’s provision.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:7-9
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
Our Lifestyle
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Acts 11:26
Once a person is truly born again, they are now to become disciples of Jesus Christ . As disciples it is our job to study and become like our Lord Jesus. We are to study him and walk so closely with him that we think, speak, behave and live like Jesus. We are to build a relationship with God the Father, our Lord Jesus Christ and our Helper the Holy Spirit.
A true Christians is a person that is made new by the New Birth in Christ. And pursues that new life by becoming a disciple (a student) of their Lord Jesus Christ. They are sealed by the blood sacrifice, of Jesus Christ; and live a clean and sin free lifestyle.
When we make mistakes and step into sin, we repent
Just asking for forgiveness is not repentance. Repentance is committing in your heart to turn away from evil, and never turning back. God is faithful to forgive us when we repent.
We have a Savior and an Enemy
Jesus came to save the world and make an abundant life available to all people, that will receive him.
This is because despite what many believe, God the creator of Heaven and Earth is not in control of all things on the Earth.
The Bible states that Satan, the thief, is the god of this world. And that he comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
Jesus has already obtained our victory over the god of this world. Praise God! We must enforce his defeat in and through the name and power of Jesus Christ.
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
2 Corinthians 4:4
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
