Connection to Murphy

Michael and Robbi Williams happily call Murphy, NC home! They have been part of the Murphy in the Hiawassee Dam community for more than 35 years.

Michael is a retired Wildland Firefighter from our Tusquittee Forest Service. He is a Army Veteran having served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm; and later served in our 210th National Guard Unit. He has also volunteered on the Hiwassee Dam Fire Department. Robbi is a Hiwassee Dam Graduate. She has worked retail for about 15 years; as well as in the food industry, and wildlife rescue. Both have served in our community as Guardian ad Litems, Foster Parents and in the Church.

History and Call into Ministry

Michael and Robbi meet as teenagers in Church in Tampa, FL. However, due to hypocrisy in the church, they both walked way from the church shortly after meeting. A few years later were married in November of 1990.

In 2000, God got Michael and Robbi’s attention and they returned to a Full- Gospel, Word of Faith Non-denominational church. God did a quick work and turned their life completely around. In 2002, God supernaturally called both of them into the ministry. Michael and Robbi stepped into Youth Ministry in January of 2003.

Teaching and Training

Reverends’ Mike & Robbi are both 100% Holy Ghost taught and trained, just like many New Testament ministries. Both of them have spent hours upon hours studying, meditating. They spend much time learning the scriptures, the history, the culture, and how to rightly divide the Word of God. They have worked to learn how to apply the Bible to every day life.

This does not mean they have no personal training or guidance. God supernaturally connected them with well and formally educated men and women of God, that mentor them in ministerial practices and ethics. Michael and Robbi are both licensed and ordained reverends by Acts Fellowship International.

Their Experience

Pastors’ Michael and Robbi were Youth Ministers in the same church for 17 years. Additionally they have proved themselves by serving continually in every area of the Church: janitorial, maintenance, kitchen, fellowships, van ministry, community outreach, evangelist witnessing, administration, nursery, children’s, young adults, ushering, pastoral aide, technical team (audio, video, online), as well as the Praise and Worship team.

Pastors’ Michael and Robbi have also severed Generation Life Youth Camp for over 20 years. Where they are the activities coordinator and served in many other areas as well. In addition they both volunteer on Rev. Randall Grier’s road team. Then in August of 2019, God supernaturally set them into the Pastoral Office.
